ICAT is supporting Guinea to establish a proposal for institutional arrangements for a national economy-wide MRV system and build capacity of national experts in establishing mitigation scenarios and monitoring mitigation options in the context of the NDC. In addition, the ICAT methodologies will be applied to support Guinea's capacity to assess the impact of policies in the energy sector and establish NDC tracking indicators. Finally, an additional area of support is the enhancement of the collection of GHG inventory data and improvement of the AFOLU component of the NDC.
