Mali

ICAT support focuses on enhancing the existing institutional arrangements of the MRV framework for GHG inventory and quantification of the impact of mitigation measures, as well as building capacity in GHG inventory and the GACMO modeling tool. In addition, the project aims at assessing sustainable development impacts of the policies of the priority sectors of Mali's NDC, using the ICAT Sustinable Development Methodology. Finally, peer to peer exchanges will be organized to identify existing climate transparency platform solutions in order to prepare Mali to set up an IT platform at the national level.
